At the scene, authorities found evidence including bloodstains, a camouflage backpack, a mobile phone, and several shell casings. Eyewitnesses indicated that a woman, dressed in gray sweatpants and white sneakers, was responsible for the shooting and fled on foot. Police later detained two individuals carrying a firearm.
A few hours later, at around 3:58 p.m., authorities received another alert regarding a shooting on Quinta Emiliano Zapata street, specifically near Avenida Constitución. Police arrived to discover a woman suffering from a head gunshot wound. Paramedics from the Red Cross declared her deceased upon their arrival.
Witnesses reported that the suspects escaped in a taxi towards Zona Norte, with some fleeing on foot towards Séptima and Constitución streets. The taxi and several suspects were intercepted near a Carl’s Jr. restaurant on Plutarco Elías Calles street.
