## Man Shot Dead Outside His Home in Mariano Matamoros Neighborhood

A 46-year-old man was fatally shot outside his home located in the Mariano Matamoros neighborhood, on the eastern side of Tijuana. The incident took place on the corner of Chichén Itzá and Chichimecas streets, where at least ten shell casings were found scattered near the victim’s lifeless body. The perpetrators fled the scene in a vehicle.

Paramedics arrived quickly but declared the victim deceased on the spot. Law enforcement and officials from the State Attorney General’s Office also attended to process the crime scene.

Earlier, in the early hours of Sunday, September 8, 2024, another shooting incident occurred on Díaz Ordaz boulevard in the La Mesa neighborhood, resulting in the death of a man aged between 35 and 40, and injuries to another individual aged between 50 and 55.

Additionally, a man approximately 25 years old was discovered deceased on a dirt road in Lomas Verdes, another part of Los Pinos. The victim had neck wounds and other injuries on his torso and back.

In southern Tijuana around 3:34 PM, a body in an advanced state of decomposition was found in the Jardines de las Cruces neighborhood, San Antonio de Los Buenos. The victim was bound with a black cloth rope around the neck, lower, and upper limbs.

Lastly, in the Zona Centro of Tijuana, a 38-year-old man’s body was identified on Carrillo Puerto street. Next to the body lay a cellphone and a black pistol.
