### 146 Homicides in Tijuana During September

The city of Tijuana witnessed a grim tally of 146 homicides throughout the month of September. This disturbing statistic was punctuated by the discovery of two lifeless male bodies and human remains in various parts of the city on Friday, September 27.

At 9:54 AM on Friday, a grisly scene was found on Querétaro Street and Morelia Street in the El Triunfo neighborhood. Two severed arms, one left and one right, were discovered inside a white plastic bucket discarded on the sidewalk.

Later in the day, the body of a 41-year-old man was found on Emiliano Zapata Street in the Ejido Ojo de Agua neighborhood at 1:36 PM. The victim had sustained gunshot wounds.

Another horrifying discovery occurred at 2:33 PM on a neighborhood road on Polvo de Estrella Street in the Horóscopo neighborhood. An 18-year-old male, also unidentified, was found with head injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.

In a later incident, at 7:42 PM, a human body part was found in the trunk of a gray sedan. The black plastic container held remains of a man estimated to be between 30 and 35 years old. The vehicle and contents were located on Mar Caribe Street in the Alemán neighborhood.

No arrests have been made in connection with these cases.
