### Forensic Investigation to Determine Identity of Remains Found in Tijuana
On Friday, officials will confirm whether human remains discovered in Tijuana belong to Erick Carrillo, who went missing on June 1, 2019. The discovery was made on November 28 in the El Lago neighborhood by the search group, “Todos Somos Erick Carrillo.”
According to forensic investigations, the clothing found with the remains matches what Erick Carrillo was last seen wearing. Eddy Carrillo, Erick’s father, identified the clothing as his son’s, increasing the likelihood that one of the skeletons belongs to Erick.
