### Partial Closure of Buena Vista Ramp for Sub-Collector Rehabilitation on Blvd. Las Américas Norte
The Public Services Commission of Tijuana (CESPT) has announced that starting Tuesday, October 22, work will commence on rehabilitating the sub-collector located on Blvd. Las Américas Norte, specifically at the Buena Vista ramp. This essential project will require a partial closure of a 240-meter section of the descending lanes, with adjustments made to maintain the flow of traffic, utilizing the ascending ramp for both directions.
CESPT’s General Director, Jesús GarcÃa Castro, emphasized the urgent need for this intervention due to the aging infrastructure reaching the end of its operational life, resulting in disruptions and leaks affecting nearby residents. The project entails replacing 240 meters of pipeline and rehabilitating seven manholes, divided into four phases. It is anticipated that the entire process will take around four months to complete. The first phase, beginning next Tuesday, involves the replacement of 79 meters of a 12-inch sewer line, expected to take approximately 30 days with extended work hours to expedite completion.
Castro has assured residents that the area will be well-marked to ensure driver safety throughout the project’s duration.
