### Upgraded Facilities at Playas de Tijuana Delegation
During the current municipal administration, the facilities of the Playas de Tijuana delegation underwent significant rehabilitation due to the deterioration of certain areas. According to Anabelle Contreras Pablos, the head of the delegation, no additional resources were needed as materials were reused from other projects.
**Key Improvements and Features**
Contreras Pablos highlighted the renovation of essential areas. “We enhanced the property, rehabilitated the Civil Registry, the Marriage Hall, garden areas, and created a space where newlyweds can take dignified photos. We aimed to improve both for our staff and the visitors to the delegation,” she stated.
One of the standout features is the enhancement of the couple’s experience during their wedding ceremonies. “We’ve improved the garden area in front of the Civil Registry, naming it ‘Alamo Plateado’ after the tree that stands there. It’s a pleasant sight since there was nothing notable before,” Contreras Pablos mentioned.
Throughout the delegation, various strengthening efforts have been initiated to ensure the next administration receives it in the best possible condition. “We are working at full capacity, continuing resurfacing and pothole repair activities, alongside numerous community projects. Although three years seem like a long time, it passes quickly. We wish we could have achieved more, but we will finish strong,” she expressed.
Finally, Contreras Pablos affirmed they will facilitate a smooth transition for the upcoming administration to maintain the newly implemented projects.
