Servando Salazar Cano, a maintenance manager at Prime Wheel located in Tijuana’s Otay manufacturing zone, has been missing since August 23. Despite his entrance being recorded by the company, no footage exists of his exit, leaving a trail of questions and concerns among his family and colleagues.

On the morning of August 23, Servando clocked in at 8:20 am but was last heard from at 1:15 pm. Despite numerous security cameras around the premises, none captured his departure. His cellphone was later found in the parking lot of Plaza Santa Anita, approximately three kilometers from the factory. After unlocking the phone, authorities found no leads regarding his disappearance.
Wendy Bravo, Servando’s wife, expressed frustration and fatigue as she recounted her search efforts within the company grounds, along with personnel from the state’s Attorney General’s Office (FGE). Despite an exhaustive search that lasted until midnight, no trace of Servando was found.
The FGE has interrogated the person who found Servando’s phone and is thoroughly reviewing security footage from Plaza Santa Anita. Servando’s car, still parked at Prime Wheel, has been impounded for further inspection.

On August 26, around 150 protesters, including Wendy Bravo, blocked the entrance to Prime Wheel, demanding answers and chanting, “Servando, listen, we are in your fight.” Demonstrators carried posters with Servando’s photo, hoping to push for more extensive investigative efforts.
After the morning shift ended, the protesters joined the FGE to search the factory premises again, looking for any clues.
