### Consejo de Desarrollo de Tijuana Invites You to Med Summit 2024

The Consejo de Desarrollo de Tijuana (CDT) has officially announced the 2024 edition of the Med Summit, which will take place on September 24-25 at the Hotel Real Inn in Tijuana’s Zona Río. This event aims to gather key players from the medical device manufacturing industry in the region.
“The goal is not only to build stronger connections in the medical industry supply chain in the state, which is a significant sector, but also to offer a seminar featuring talks, conferences, and workshops on the value chain of medical device manufacturing,” explained Alfredo Dueñes, President of the Baja California Medical Device Cluster.
Alfredo Dueñes added that the highlight of this year’s edition is the first-ever medical device seminar. This initiative is intended to encourage the local industry to stay updated with new trends and manufacturing practices.
The Med Summit will include a series of lectures and panels covering topics such as “Integral Vision of the Medical Device Life Cycle,” “Perspectives of the Medical Device Sector in Light of Global Political Changes: Challenges and Opportunities,” “The Transformational Future of Surgical Robotics,” “Essential Principles on Quality, Safety, and Performance of Medical Devices,” “Regulatory Compliance in Medical Device Design, Construction, and Commissioning,” “Innovative Medical Devices,” and “Application of Microbiological Controls for Medical Devices,” among others.
