### Man Arrested for Attempted Kidnapping of a Girl in Tijuana
In a concerning incident in Tijuana’s Villas Del Prado Second Section, a man has been arrested after allegedly attempting to kidnap a 13-year-old girl. The suspect, identified as Fernando N, aged 38, was detained by officers from the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection after a quick response to a 911 emergency call reporting the attempted abduction.
According to the young victim, she was walking along the street when a gray van approached. The driver reportedly grabbed her arm and attempted to force her into the vehicle. Fortunately, she managed to escape and notify authorities. With the description of both the vehicle and the suspect, law enforcement launched a search operation in the area, successfully locating the van and apprehending the suspect a few streets away.
Fernando N was found with multiple facial injuries, reportedly inflicted by several individuals before his arrest. He was subsequently taken by the Red Cross for medical attention. Following this, the suspect was taken to the State Attorney General’s Office to initiate the corresponding investigation.
