### Four Bodies Discovered in Tijuana, Two Found Wrapped in Blankets
At least four bodies were discovered in various locations across Tijuana between August 8 and 9, 2024. The victims were all male, with two found wrapped in blankets.
On the morning of Friday, August 9, the body of a man estimated to be around 35 years old was found near the entrance to the Valle de las Palmas neighborhood in the Presa Rural delegation. The unclothed body, visibly bearing signs of violence, was wrapped in a blanket.
Earlier, at 9:32 AM on Thursday, August 8, a male body aged between 25 and 30 was discovered on the sidewalk of Calle 1 in the Cañadas del Florido neighborhood. The cause of death appeared to be gunshot wounds.
Later that day, at 6:32 PM, police received a report of a decomposed male body found between two houses on Calle Cañón K in the Patrimonial Benito Juárez neighborhood. The body, found in a supine position, had a noticeable wound in the chest area, but the cause could not be determined due to the level of decomposition.
Simultaneously, at 6:33 PM, authorities were alerted to two unrecognizable and decomposing bodies releasing a foul odor in front of a Christian church in the Los Potros residential unit. One body wrapped in a blue blanket and a white tarp was identified as male, but no identification could be made because of the state of decomposition. The victim was wearing blue jeans, black boxers, and black socks.
No arrests have been reported in connection with these discoveries.
