**Gas Leak at a Commercial Plaza in Gas y Anexas Neighborhood**

Tijuana authorities reported a gas leak that occurred at a commercial plaza located in the Gas y Anexas neighborhood on Saturday, December 21st. According to the Tijuana Fire Department, the incident took place at Plaza Carrusel on Boulevard Díaz Ordaz and Avenida Ramón Alarid, next to a casino.

The leak was caused by a collision with a gas pipe, which necessitated the response of central Fire Station units 2 and 5. As of now, the situation has been brought under control.

It’s noteworthy that a similar incident was reported just a day earlier, on December 20th, in Colonia Marrón, where a gas company worker suffered first and second-degree burns. The Hazardous Materials Division was also called in to assess the risk.
