On the morning of September 30, 2024, two suspicious suitcases containing human remains were discovered in the Reforma neighborhood of Tijuana. The report came in around 7:06 a.m., informing authorities about the abandoned suitcases on Literatos de Reforma Street, near the intersection with Guillermo Prieto Street, behind Rosario Castellanos Primary School.
