“We’re delighted that travelers now have more opportunities to visit Las Vegas,” said Jackie Casno, Volaris spokesperson. Since the airline’s inception in 2006, Volaris has transported over 40 million passengers to and from Tijuana. This new route underscores the importance of Las Vegas as a destination for Mexican tourists, ranking as Nevada’s second-largest market for visitors from abroad.
Miguel Aguiñiga, Secretary of Tourism for Baja California, emphasized the region’s growing appeal: “Flights like these help us attract more visitors. Events like the Tianguis Turístico and the Caribbean Series further enhance our reputation as exemplary hosts.”
