### Progress in Tijuana Beach Boardwalk Construction Amid Public Safety Concerns

**Tijuana** – Construction on the Tijuana Beach Boardwalk is progressing, though a number of citizens are disregarding warning signs and potentially jeopardizing their safety, according to area delegate Anabelle Contreras Pablos.

During this summer season, up to 10,000 visitors flock to the beach each weekend, which demonstrates that the ongoing construction has not deterred tourists. Contreras Pablos emphasized the importance of adhering to cautionary signs to prevent accidents. “People insist on being at the beach, which is understandable in the summer when they’re seeking recreational spaces. Despite the presence of warning signs, many choose to ignore them, and we want to avoid any accidents,” stated Contreras Pablos.

Following a collective wedding ceremony this past Saturday, she announced that the Arco de Playas area would be dismantled this weekend as part of the scheduled works. “The dismantling process is progressing well, uncovering various details such as piping and infrastructure that any project might encounter,” she added.

Contreras Pablos declined to comment on whether the project would be completed before the current administration ends, deferring this information to the Municipal Presidency or the Municipal Urban Development Department.
