Tijuana – On the night of Tuesday, residents from the Maclovio Rojas neighborhood began a blockade on Aeropuerto Avenue, preventing vehicle access. The blockage extends from Vía de la Juventud to the roundabout on Cuauhtémoc Norte Boulevard.

The demonstration, which started at 11:07 PM on Tuesday, continued into early Wednesday morning, lasting until 1:00 AM. The protestors have stated that they will not lift the blockade until the first 400 property titles are delivered to the residents of Maclovio Rojas.

As a result, hundreds of people arriving at the Abelardo L. Rodríguez International Airport had to walk along the entire avenue to reach their destinations. Only vehicles that were stuck between the blockades were able to leave the airport premises.
