**Criminal Groups Battling Over Drug Sales in Bars of Downtown Tijuana: Municipal Police Reports**
The General Prosecutor’s Office (FGE) is investigating multiple armed assaults in the bar district of Sixth Street, linked to drug trafficking activities, stated Fernando Sánchez González, head of the Secretary of Public Security and Municipal Citizen Protection (SSPCM).
“We’ve noticed conflicts between criminal groups vying to dominate small-scale drug sales in that area and those bars,” Sánchez González mentioned.
Sánchez González also noted that the Municipal Police have arrested several individuals responsible for these violent incidents, who have since been handed over to the FGE.
