### Third Arrest Made in the Disappearance of Servando Salazar

A third suspect involved in the disappearance of Servando Salazar Cano, an employee of Prime Wheel, has been placed under preventive detention following an initial court hearing. The suspect was arrested on Wednesday, September 25, and the preliminary hearing was held the next day, Thursday, September 26, for charges related to the forced disappearance of individuals.

According to unofficial sources, the detained individual is a worker from Plant 1 of the same company where Salazar was employed. The arrest occurred within the vicinity of the workplace. The judicial process under case number 06836/2024 has allocated 144 hours for linking the suspect to the case, during which the accused will remain under justified preventive detention.

During the weekly press conference on Wednesday, September 25, Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila and Central Prosecutor Rafael Orozco mentioned that significant developments would be announced later that day, which included the arrest of the third suspect. More individuals may still be implicated in the investigation.

Previously, two other persons, Moisés “N” and José Alfredo “N,” an engineer and a general supervisor of the company, were already in custody and linked to the case on Thursday, September 5, for their alleged involvement in the enforced disappearance.

Wendy Bravo, Servando’s wife, shared that on the day of the recent arrest, a working meeting was held with the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), where a new investigative process within the company was outlined, though specific details remain undisclosed. Additionally, it was reported that DNA tests on blood traces found in the bathrooms did not match Servando’s DNA. The extensive analysis of ashes found at the scene is still ongoing due to the large amount of material involved.

The information was delivered following a protest held outside the company by Wendy, along with family, friends, and coworkers, starting on Sunday night, September 22. This demonstration sought answers due to the lack of progression in the DNA results and the commencement of ash analysis. The protest was temporarily disrupted in the early hours of Wednesday, September 25, when it was revealed that four employees were dismissed for participating in the protest by failing to show up for work, with others at risk of the same fate.
