**TEPJF Launches Stand at Guadalajara International Book Fair 2024**
The Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary (TEPJF) recently launched its stand at the 2024 Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL), showcasing an extensive selection of its intellectual contributions. The stand will host 25 book presentations, 12 panel discussions, and a workshop focusing on the analysis of legal rulings. Attendees will have access to over 4,000 copies from more than 100 titles in the TEPJF’s editorial catalog.
Felipe de la Mata Pizaña, a magistrate from the TEPJF’s Upper Chamber, officiated the inauguration. He emphasized that the presence at this renowned book fair is integral to understanding the significant reforms within the judicial system. He noted, “It’s not just a judicial reform, but a comprehensive rethinking of law and how legal education is constructed in Mexico.”
The recent judicial reform now includes the election of all members of the judiciary, not just legislators, which brings into play mechanisms like the recall referendum and popular consultation. De la Mata Pizaña pointed out the necessity of revising academic programs at universities to address these changes, stressing the importance of electoral law, sociology, and political science.
TEPJF’s participation in FIL Guadalajara underscores the dissemination of its extensive editorial catalog, consisting of over 550 titles, available both physically at the fair and digitally for free download. The program will feature contributions from 135 presenters, including academics from across Mexico and Spain, along with representatives from international organizations, media, civil society, federal authorities, and electoral officials.
Visitors can receive free copies at the TEPJF’s Stand F23, courtesy of public funding. The digital catalog is accessible for download [here](http://www.te.gob.mx/editorial).
