### Suspect Arrested in Connection to Double Homicide and Disappearance of Two Women in Maneadero

On August 5, 2024, a suspect has been apprehended in connection to the murder of two men and the disappearance of two women in Ensenada, according to the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE). The investigation revealed that Cristian Ricardo, alias “El Tecato,” aged 30, faces charges of aggravated homicide and enforced disappearance.
During a recent hearing, the Prosecutor assigned to the Specialized Homicide Unit presented charges against Cristian Ricardo. The evidence indicated that on November 13, 2023, the four victims were in a residence located on Lorenzo Hinojosa Street, Maneadero. Three individuals, including Cristian Ricardo, entered the premises claiming to be associated with Leonel, alias “El Pecas,” who is already under scrutiny for this case. The attackers opened fire on the two men, resulting in fatal injuries, while the two women were abducted and have not been seen since.
The victims have been identified as Claudia Isabel Rojas Beltrán and Alondra Danira Macias Velázquez. Although there was some online activity on Alondra’s social media accounts following the incident, investigators suspect someone else might have been using her identity.
The ongoing investigation led to Cristian Ricardo’s arrest and subsequent court proceedings, where he was remanded in custody on charges of aggravated homicide and enforced disappearance.
