### Primary Article: No Spike in Gasoline Prices Despite Fuel Subsidies Removal

**TJGringo.com’s Latest Update**

**Tijuana, Mexico** – The cost of gasoline in Tijuana has remained stable, even with the recent removal of fuel subsidies. Alejandro Borja Robles, President of the Specialized Gasoline Group of the Tijuana Chamber of Commerce, has confirmed that there hasn’t been significant variation in gas prices.

Robles noted that regular gasoline prices have only seen a minimal increase, averaging around 23.00 pesos per liter, while premium gasoline is at about 24.30 pesos per liter.

“The prices of regular gasoline have followed the same trend as last week. There are no substantial increases of five or six pesos at the moment, and I don’t foresee anything like that happening soon, although nothing is certain,” stated Robles.

He further explained that over the first nine months of 2024, the fluctuation in fuel prices has not exceeded two pesos compared to the end of the previous year. This stability comes in spite of the elimination of fiscal incentives for fuel.
