**Upcoming National Military Service Lottery: Key Details for Conscripts**

This Sunday, November 17, at 7:00 am, the National Military Service (SMN) lottery will take place at the Municipal Palace esplanade in Tijuana. The event, targeting conscripts from the 2006 class and those who have delayed their service, is organized by the Municipal Recruitment Board under the leadership of Tijuana’s Mayor, Ismael Burgueño Ruiz. The event is coordinated by the Secretariat of National Defense, through the II Military Region and the 2nd Military Zone.

All young men who have obtained their military registration card need to attend with their preliminary card. The lottery involves drawing either a white or black ball. Those who draw a white ball will be required to serve, whereas those who draw a black one will be exempt from service. Attendance is crucial as any conscript who fails to participate will automatically be required to complete their military service.

To facilitate this process, the Municipal Government urges conscripts who haven’t yet picked up their preliminary card to do so by visiting the Municipal Recruitment Board office located at the Center Delegation facilities.
