Everything Set for the SCORE San Felipe 250 in Baja California
San Felipe is ramping up for the much-anticipated 38th edition of the SCORE San Felipe 250, scheduled to take place from April 3 to April 6. Supported by Governor Marina del Pilar and the State Government, this event promises thrilling races and a significant boost to local tourism.
A total of 234 teams have already registered from various corners of the world, including Argentina, New Zealand, Canada, Australia, the United States, Japan, and Mexico. With open registration until April 3, more entries are expected. The State Tourism Secretary, Miguel AguÃñiga RodrÃguez, emphasized, “The SCORE San Felipe 250 is not just a race but a significant catalyst for tourism, showcasing Baja California’s spirit of sport, adventure, and hospitality to a global audience.”
Participants are already getting acquainted with the taxing 250-mile course, which poses numerous technical challenges across the San Felipe desert.
Event Schedule:
– Thursday, April 3: An exclusive qualification round for Trophy Trucks.
– Friday, April 4: Kick-off of official mechanical inspections (Tech & Contingency), along with a meet-up for fans, media, and racers.
– Saturday, April 5: Motorcycles and Quads take off at 6:00 a.m., followed by four-wheel vehicles at 10:00 a.m.
– Sunday, April 6: The event concludes with an awards ceremony celebrating off-road racing.
