Despite introducing discounts and partnerships with restaurants and beach clubs, the anticipated influx of American tourists has not met expectations.
Torres Ramírez attributes this decline to economic uncertainties in the U.S., suggesting that potential visitors are choosing to save money amid fears of a potential recession. This cautious spending is mirrored in reduced activity on booking platforms like Booking.com and Expedia, as travelers reconsider or cancel their plans.
In spite of these challenges, Rosarito remains committed to hosting exciting Spring Break events to draw both domestic and international visitors. The well-known beachfront venue Papas&Beer is offering four weekends of festivities with live performances by artists such as Diplo, Sexyy Red, Wiz Khalifa, and Lil Jon.
