### Attack on Rosarito Municipal Police

In the afternoon of Tuesday, an armed attack targeted units of the Rosarito Municipal Police near the Los Arroyos area on Boulevard 2000. Reportedly, two of the alleged attackers were injured at the scene.

The incident occurred at 2:31 PM, prompting a call for assistance from other law enforcement agencies via public security channels. The assailants, traveling in a vehicle, opened fire with a long, black rifle on Rosarito’s police units while they were en route to Tijuana.

Minutes later, at 2:41 PM, public security officials requested support from the Red Cross after managing to injure two of the attackers. Units from the Baja California State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) and the National Guard also responded to the scene.
