Carrillo RodrÃguez stated, “People have come forward with complaints about the state police. We are currently investigating two formal cases.” He also mentioned that while there have been social media allegations, no formal reports have been filed beyond the two already received.

Regarding the decision to reassign the officers, Carrillo RodrÃguez explained that this measure was taken for their safety as the investigation by the Internal Control Body is underway. “There is currently no evidence linking them to the accusations, but they have been reassigned while the situation is being examined,” he said.
Since assuming control on March 7th, the State Police replaced 264 municipal officers in Rosarito, who are undergoing comprehensive evaluations that include psychological, medical, and toxicology tests.
