Four officers from the State Police have been temporarily relieved of their duties in Rosarito after two formal complaints were lodged since the state police assumed local security responsibilities on March 7th.
According to Laureano Carrillo Rodríguez, the Secretary of Citizen Security in Baja California, one of the complaints was directed to the State Attorney General’s Office, while the other was reported to the security department’s Internal Control Body. “We have received complaints about the state police actions. Two formal cases are under investigation so far,” stated Carrillo Rodríguez.
