While the investigation is underway, the four implicated officers have been reassigned. Carrillo RodrÃguez clarified, “There is no evidence currently linking them to the accusations, but for safety, they have been relocated during our investigation.”
The State Police took over Rosarito’s security on March 7th, replacing 264 municipal officers who are now undergoing a comprehensive series of evaluations. These assessments include psychological, medical, and toxicology tests, as well as social background checks and polygraph exams. Additionally, their firearms are being thoroughly inspected.
