Four officers from the State Police have been temporarily relieved of their duties in Rosarito after two formal complaints emerged since the state police assumed responsibility for local security on March 7th.
Baja California’s Secretary of Citizen Security, Laureano Carrillo Rodríguez, revealed that one of the complaints was lodged with the State Attorney General’s Office, while the other went to the Internal Control Body of the security department. “We’ve received complaints about the state police. As of now, there are two formal cases under investigation,” Carrillo Rodríguez stated.
