### Thrilling Performance at Fifth Rodeo Event of the Season at Rancho Casian
The fifth event of the 2024 Rodeo Season took place on Sunday, August 18th, at Rancho Casian Arena, drawing in the region’s top riders and barrel racers under a high-spirited “Country Fest” atmosphere. Participants gathered in hopes of earning points for the State Circuit in this exhilarating sport.
The main event, Bull Riding, showcased fierce competition, with Javier Garcia emerging as the victor with a score of 70. “We had some excellent action today. The bulls were evenly matched, and I believe both the bulls’ and riders’ levels have progressively increased,” said Garcia, who, for the second consecutive month, clinched the top spot upon his return to Mexico.
Having recently returned from competing in the United States, Garcia noted, “This season marked my return from the States, riding in the state circuit. It’s been going well for me. The experience abroad has contributed significantly to my growth. Now, my goal is to prepare for the Nationals in Chihuahua with the objective to become the champion.”
Garcia credited the Rancho Casian Arena’s improvement in quality to the investment made in livestock. Ruben Navarro, representing Rancho Casian, highlighted the remarkable performance by both competitors and livestock. “We are very grateful to the audience who consistently show up in great numbers. The competition in Bull Riding was spectacular, with Javier Garcia winning again this month, just as he did in July. He brings a wealth of international experience and, after recovering from an injury, is regaining his confidence. We hope he continues to excel and represent us in national and international competitions. Overall, all disciplines showed excellent competition, with top-notch performances and high levels,” stated the organizer.
Looking ahead, the sixth event of the season will mark the 18th anniversary of Rancho Casian Arena as the home of the Rodeo, with many exciting surprises anticipated.
