A 21-year-old man and two minors have been apprehended by Tijuana Municipal Police following a distress call to 9-1-1 regarding a brutal armed assault during a family event in the Rancho Las Flores neighborhood, Tijuana. The violent attack resulted in the deaths of two individuals.
According to the police report, a gray van pulled up outside a house where the occupants opened fire with long rifles, leaving two people injured who later succumbed to their injuries. During their escape, the driver of the vehicle sped along the Rosas Magallón bypass, lost control, collided with a station wagon, and eventually continued towards the La Gloria neighborhood where they were intercepted.
The suspects have been identified as 21-year-old José “N”, and 16-year-olds Antonio “N” and Jaret “N”. Authorities confiscated two high-caliber .223 rifles from them. The detainees have been handed over to the appropriate authorities for further processing.
