**Grand Finale of the Rodeo Season at Rancho Casian**
Get ready for an exhilarating experience as the rodeo season concludes at Rancho Casian on Sunday, November 17th. This exciting event will feature a thrilling showdown between the riders from the Baja California State Circuit and those from the Tombstone Circuit, promising outstanding performances in both bull and horse riding within the arena located on Boulevard 2000.
Ruben Navarro, a representative from Rancho Casian, highlighted the significance of this collaboration with Tombstone, remarking, “This alliance brings intense competition in the arena while fostering camaraderie outside of it. It’s an important date that we hope to maintain for the public, and with the strong relationship we have, even greater things are expected in the future.”
For this major event, teams of cowboys have been established. Representing Rancho Casian will be Baja Californians Rodolfo Flores, Javier García, Miguel Carrillo, Ángel Valdivieso, Luis Moreno, and Cesar Talamantes. Team Tombstone will feature Abdul Batista from Panama, William Herrera from Brazil, Marce Tavares from Guanajuato, Saúl Alva from Jalisco, Luis Olvera from Querétaro, and Emiliano Guzmán from Jalisco.
David Tapia, President of the Baja California State Association, stated, “The reason the Tombstone riders join us is their high level of skill, as they compete across the country, and the Baja California riders aim to enhance their skills by competing elsewhere. This event pushes them forward, performing in front of good livestock and in a great arena ensures sporting excellence.”
In addition to the main event, the year’s closing program includes competitions in other rodeo disciplines, such as the spectacular Barrel Racing and Team Roping, as well as the amazing equestrian show by the Pioneers. The rodeo festivities kick off at 3 p.m., with gates opening at noon. Tickets are available at the Rancho Casian Arena box office, starting at 450 pesos for general admission.
