The arrest occurred in November 2022, when municipal police apprehended Soriano in his vehicle in the Tres de Octubre area of Tijuana. During a routine inspection, officers discovered two rifles, two magazine clips, 15 rounds of ammunition, over 12 kilograms of marijuana, and 97 grams of methamphetamine.
Following his arrest, Soriano was presented to the state prosecutor, where an investigation was promptly launched. A district judge handed down his sentence after a short legal process, backed by evidence assembled by the public prosecutor demonstrating the severity of his crimes.
