**Partial Closures at Nodo Morelos Starting Saturday Night**
Starting from the evening of Saturday, November 16, through the early hours of Sunday, November 17, partial closures will be implemented in the Nodo Morelos area. This was announced by the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Urban Development, and Territorial Reorganization (SIDURT). Arturo Espinoza Jaramillo, head of SIDURT, stated that the first closure will affect the Zona Centro-Santa Fe route along Cuauhtémoc South Boulevard. The ramp leading to Cuauhtémoc South Boulevard from the Libramiento in the 5 and 10 direction will also be closed.
During these closures, access on the ramps heading towards Santa Fe and Zona Centro from the Libramiento Sur to Playas de Tijuana will be restricted to ensure the safety of drivers. A contraflow lane on Cuauhtémoc South Boulevard will be opened to allow traffic in both directions through the construction area; motorists are advised to proceed with caution during this period.
Upon completion of the first section, the second set of closures will begin. The contraflow lane will remain available, while the main traffic flow from Santa Fe to Zona Centro will be restricted, requiring drivers to use the inverse flow lane. The ramp from Cuauhtémoc South Boulevard to the Libramiento towards 5 and 10 will also be inaccessible until 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 17. Similarly, the ramp from Libramiento Sur heading to Zona Centro will remain closed.
Espinoza Jaramillo recommends using alternate routes such as Fundadores Boulevard, Mar de Cortez Boulevard, or the Circuito de las Águilas in Colinas del Sol for reaching destinations. He also emphasizes the importance of adhering to road signs and speed limits.
