In Manzanillo, Colima, naval personnel aboard the ship ARM “Godínez,” supported by a Panther helicopter, intercepted three speedboats equipped with three outboard motors each. The seizure included 126 bundles weighing approximately 5.6 tons of cocaine, along with 1,100 liters of fuel. Fifteen individuals were taken into custody during this operation.

Meanwhile, in Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán, naval units, assisted by the interceptor patrol ship ARM “Regulus,” a Defender-type vessel, and another Panther helicopter, confiscated 32 floating bundles containing around 1.6 tons of cocaine. They also seized a smaller boat outfitted with three outboard motors.

SEMAR stated that both the detainees and the confiscated drugs and fuel were transported by sea to the designated naval ports. Once at the ports, they were handed over to the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) for further investigation.
