### Woman Arrested with Weapons, Drugs, and Grenade in Mexicali
A woman carrying two firearms, marijuana, heroin, and even a grenade was apprehended in the Hacienda La Encantada neighborhood in Mexicali. The State Security Forces reported that the arrest took place during a surveillance operation in the area, following several reports to number 089 about armed individuals in the vicinity.
During the operation, state agents with the support of the National Defense Secretariat (Sedena) discovered an Infinity G35 vehicle on Hacienda Agraz avenue, with its driver’s door left open. A smell similar to marijuana was emanating from the car. The driver was instructed to exit the vehicle, and a precautionary search revealed 55 plastic bags containing marijuana, weighing approximately 189 grams, and a small bag of heroin weighing 68 grams.
Inside the car, they found a pistol with an empty magazine, a rifle with a magazine loaded with three rounds, and a fragmentation grenade within a box, for which Sedena provided assistance.
The woman, identified as 35-year-old Ana Gabriela “N” from Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, was detained and handed over to the Federal Attorney General’s Office (FGR).
