## Suspect Arrested for Violent Robbery Attempt in Mexicali

A 39-year-old man, identified only as Ramón “N,” was detained by the municipal police of Mexicali for attempting a violent robbery at a bakery. The incident occurred around 5:30 PM on Friday, December 20th, when an employee from the bakery located on Calzada de los Monarcas near Calle Tabara in the Villas del Rey neighborhood called emergency services. The suspect, described as wearing a grey hoodie and green shorts with white stripes, attempted to rob the store and subsequently fled towards Calzada de los Monarcas.

After receiving the report, Mexicali’s municipal police quickly responded and began patrolling the area surrounding the bakery. They soon located an individual matching the description provided. Upon conducting a body search, the suspect was found to be carrying a black metal knife, approximately 21 centimeters in length.

Ramón “N” was arrested and taken to the central command for processing. It was revealed during information checks that the suspect had prior criminal records for violent robbery.
