**Authorities Secure Over 37 Kilograms of Methamphetamine in Abandoned Suitcases**

In a coordinated operation in Tijuana, more than 37 kilograms of methamphetamine were discovered in abandoned suitcases. The operation involved the State Civil Security Force (FESC), the Tijuana Municipal Police, and the National Guard (GN).

According to a citizen report, two suspicious-looking men were observed trying to close a regular-sized suitcase near the Valle del Rubí Sección Terrazas neighborhood. The men abandoned the suitcases upon noticing the presence of local residents.

The suitcases, one black and one blue, were found on La Bufadora Street, between Avenida de Las Colinas and the previously mentioned neighborhood. Upon inspection, authorities discovered eight rectangular packages wrapped in brown tape and secured with transparent plastic. These packages tested positive for methamphetamine, weighing a total of approximately 37 kilos and 240 grams.

The seized narcotics were transported to the Federal Attorney General’s Office (FGR) in Tijuana.
