**Lawyers Support Judicial Workers’ Strike Despite Challenges**
October 7, 2024 – Tijuana: Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing workers’ strike within the Federal Judiciary, the legal community in Tijuana continues to stand by the federal workers’ decision to halt their activities. Alexander Bazán Gómez Llanos, president of the Tijuana Bar Association, highlighted the strike’s impact, especially in delaying resolution across commercial, labor, criminal, and constitutional sectors.
Since the commencement of the protests, the judicial processes have faced significant disruptions, reminiscent of the delays experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic. Yet, more than 80% of the association’s members are in favor of continuing the work stoppage.
