According to reports, the situation was first alerted at approximately 5:33 p.m. Two male teenagers, identified as Jesús Alejandro, 13, and Eduardo, 15, were seen entering the lake but did not surface. Firefighters from Stations 3 and 14 responded to the call but were unable to locate the teens by nightfall. The search was suspended overnight.
Efforts have resumed this morning, Tuesday, August 6th, with rescue teams from Station 3 and Unit 13 back on the scene. The team from the third shift is actively involved in the ongoing search operation.
