### Announcement: INEA to Hold Certification Exams for Primary and Secondary Education
The National Institute for Adult Education (INEA) in Tijuana has announced a new session of the “Recognition of Knowledge” program, aimed at individuals aged 15 and above who wish to obtain primary and secondary education certificates through a single exam. Ricardo Torres, the coordinator of INEA in Tijuana, extended an invitation to all interested parties to participate in the exams, which will take place on August 15 and 16 at the Municipal Auditorium of Tijuana.
The exams are scheduled from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, but participants are encouraged to arrive half an hour earlier for registration purposes. The test evaluates three core areas: general culture, mathematics, and acknowledgment of prior knowledge. Those who fail to pass on the first attempt will be provided with a study guide for a second chance.
Torres highlighted that individuals aged 45 and above show the most interest in obtaining their certifications, often driven by employment necessities. However, there has also been an increase in participation from younger individuals, aged 15 and over, who faced difficulties completing basic education due to relocation.
The initiative, aimed at combating educational lag, holds sessions twice a month at varying locations depending on the availability of venues such as the Municipal Auditorium or other spaces. Participants are required to bring their primary school certificate and CURP for registration. For more information, interested parties can contact INEA at 664 624 4040 or 664 696 8470.
