### IMSS to Build New Daycare Center in San Quintin

The Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) has confirmed the development of a new daycare center for insured parents residing in San Quintín and neighboring communities. With the support of the XXV Legislature of Baja California, a plot previously removed from the State’s Public Domain Patrimony has been allocated for this project.

Located in the Lomas de San Ramón neighborhood of San Quintín, the 3,500-square-meter site is deemed suitable for constructing a daycare facility that will accommodate around 100 children. The services will cater to children aged from 43 days old up to 4 years, including essential amenities such as kitchen areas, dining rooms, health promotion, and pedagogical spaces.

Alva Artemiza Adame Aguillón, head of the Health Services, Economic Benefits, and Social Services Department at the IMSS in Baja California, emphasized that preparations are advancing. Although the IMSS has yet to officially take ownership of the property, the institute is progressing with the project plan to outline the investment required to proceed with central authority approvals.

Preliminary approvals have already been secured, with San Quintín’s Civil Protection Department giving favorable feedback on the proposed daycare location. The IMSS has also confirmed the site’s feasibility for the required infrastructure.
