**IMDET Launches Delegational Volleyball Tournament**

The Tijuana Municipal Sports Institute (IMDET) has kicked off the Delegational Volleyball Tournament with initial sub-delegational eliminations taking place across several city areas. The initial rounds were held in the delegations of Playas de Tijuana, Cerro Colorado, La Presa Abelardo L. Rodríguez, Centro, and La Presa Este, where the first teams to compete in the tournament’s final stage were determined.

This week, the IMDET will continue the sub-delegational eliminations in the areas of La Presa ALR, Playas de Tijuana, Centro, Sánchez Taboada, Otay Centenario, La Presa Este, and Cerro Colorado.

The tournament features categories for various age groups: Sub 12 for children 12 years and younger, Intermediate for those aged between 13 and 15, and Open for participants over 16 years old. Both male and female teams are eligible to participate in all categories.

To participate, teams must have a minimum of six players and a maximum of ten. Participants must wear sports attire, provide documents to verify their age, and belong to the delegation they represent.
