On Saturday, September 14, two homicides occurred in separate incidents in Ensenada, as reported by the local authorities.

The first incident took place on Avenida de los Operativos in the Lomas del Pedregal neighborhood, where a person was attacked with an ice pick. According to the municipal police, the victim approached a neighbor to ask them to lower the volume of their music as they were consuming alcohol at an excessive volume. In a separate case, Jorge Alberto Estrada Villavicencio succumbed to gunshot wounds at the Ensenada General Hospital on Saturday. Estrada had been hospitalized since Thursday, September 5, following an attack outside the Francisco Villa Sports Unit on Avenida Ángel de la Guarda.
