On October 10, the conference “Viajando por la Vida” will be held in Tijuana, led by grief counselor Gaby Pérez Islas. The event aims to raise funds for the Patronato del Hospital General de Tijuana (HGT), with a goal of collecting 200,000 pesos. These funds will be used to cover medical expenses including treatments, food, supplies, and other necessities for children with cancer who are currently receiving care at the hospital.

Carolina Reyes Parra, the general director of the Patronato HGT, explained that 70% of the pediatric oncology patients in the state are treated at their hospital. The funds raised from the conference will benefit approximately 180 children who are either under surveillance or are actively undergoing treatment in the oncology department.

“Our primary focuses are on providing essential supplies, medications, and specialized studies,” Reyes Parra stated. She emphasized the importance of community support and urged people to attend the conference and purchase tickets through Boletopolis via the link BLT.MX/OFA.
