### Only 300 Health Centers Registered with REPSsabi
In recent developments, only 300 health centers have registered with the State Registry for Health and Wellness Service Providers (REPSsabi), according to Rigoberto Isarraraz Hernández, head of the State Commission for the Protection Against Sanitary Risks (Coepris).
“This program has been very well received, and we have been running it for just under two years. 90% of the centers have accredited within the program,” stated Isarraraz Hernández.
These health centers have undergone evaluation visits to ensure they comply with at least 80% of the sanitary regulations. Despite these efforts, only 10% of medical service providers in Baja California have registered with REPSsabi. The establishments that have registered meet all the necessary authorizations for both the establishment itself and the personnel.
Isarraraz Hernández pointed out that there isn’t a precise number of unregistered establishments due to the federal system’s flexibility allowing establishments to self-register via the CIS platform. This lack of a central registry makes it challenging to have an exact count.
