Five decapitated bodies showing signs of violence were found wrapped in black plastic bags along the San Luis PotosÃ-San Juan de los Lagos federal highway at kilometer 81 in the municipality of Ojuelos, Jalisco.
On the morning of October 13, 2024, around 7:00 AM, the National Guard received a report regarding human-shaped black bags on the highway. Personnel from the Jalisco State Attorney General’s Office confirmed the discovery. In a statement, they noted that the bodies belonged to men wearing pants, and separate bags contained human heads, likely matching the victims, whose ages are yet to be determined.
The authorities have opened an investigation to uncover the events leading to this crime and to apprehend those responsible. Specialists from the Jalisco Forensic Sciences Institute examined the scene while the Forensic Medical Service is tasked with transferring the bodies for autopsies and further analyses.
