The Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL) has continued its poetic tradition by announcing the 2024 Poetry Salon. Under this program, 26 poets from 9 different countries will present their works from Saturday, November 30th to Sunday, December 8th, 2024.

“For the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL), the promotion and dissemination of contemporary poetry and its protagonists have always been a core mission. To achieve this, the Poetry Salon was created 17 years ago, serving as an intimate space where poets share their voices and works with their audience,” stated FIL Guadalajara.

This year’s program will feature poets from Canada, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, Spain, Mexico, Poland, Syria, and Venezuela. There will be three daily sessions where these poets will read their works aloud.
