During patrols in the La Morita neighborhood of Tijuana, elements of the National Guard intercepted a gift bag containing possible fentanyl pills.
According to reports, while conducting surveillance, the National Guard officers noticed two individuals on a motorcycle. Upon spotting the official units, the individuals attempted to flee, with one of them dropping the bag in the process.
Upon inspection, the officers discovered the gift bag contained fentanyl pills along with a note labeled “5,000 sweets.”
Despite a swift operation to track down the suspects, they evaded capture. The seized narcotics were turned over to the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office for ongoing investigation.
