### Over 10,000 Tourists Visit Beaches and Valle de Guadalupe in Ensenada Over the Weekend
During the weekend from August 8th to 10th, Ensenada’s beaches saw an influx of over 10,600 visitors, according to local government reports. Ensenada’s Municipal Fire Department reported a safe and successful weekend with no major incidents.
Mayor Armando Ayala Robles highlighted that in addition to the grape harvest festivals, concerts, and various social events happening in the port and its delegations, nearly 11,000 visitors enjoyed the local beaches from Thursday to Saturday. On Sunday alone, an estimated 3,500 visitors from nearby areas and beyond flocked to the shores.
The Fire Department and Water Rescue Division conducted 945 preventive actions, one rescue, and assisted two individuals with minor water-related issues, all resolved on the spot. Furthermore, the fire department staff helped a lost child reunite with their family and provided first aid to three individuals in need.
Firefighters were stationed at surveillance towers located on Guaymas, Palma, Floresta, and Granito streets, as well as at beaches such as PacÃfica, Monalisa, Cactus, Mal Paso, and La Misión. Additionally, an ambulance with paramedics was on standby at Floresta Street to ensure public safety.
