### Charred Body Found in Burned Vehicle in Ensenada

**Ensenada, August 20, 2024** – Authorities have discovered the charred remains of a person in the trunk of a burned vehicle in the El Porvenir area of the Guadalupe Valley, Ensenada. This marks the second such discovery in August.

According to the report from the Municipal Public Security Directorate (DSPM), a call was received at 4:48 AM on Tuesday, August 20, regarding a forest fire on the road to Olivares. Upon arrival, local firefighters and police reclassified the incident, finding a burning sedan. After extinguishing the flames, a body was found inside the vehicle.

Personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) arrived at the scene to gather evidence and initiate an investigation.

Earlier this month, on August 8, Ensenada firefighters found another charred body while extinguishing a vehicle fire on a dirt road called José Rodríguez Street in the Las Palmas neighborhood, heading towards an area known as Cumbres 400.
